Seems like the download links here are linking to HTML and not binary data.
The prior releases links seem to be correct but the latest don't work for me.

Re: Import settings
Every time I start a download by opening an .nzb UE asks where to store the download. I've set a default dir in Save/Unpack but still it asks every time if the directory is correct. Do you have "Auto - folder out of nzb name" checked in "Properties->Search/Import->NZB files" ? j...

Re: Import settings
UE Asks where to put the database the fist time you run it. And you can change/view the location in "Properties->General->Database".

Yes it would be nice to create and export an .NZB from the search results.

You can make UE stop opening the import tab in the settings, "Properties->Search/Import->Open import group".shEiD wrote:2. UE automatically switches from search tab to import tab

Re: is it possible to define size in filter editor?
You could test this:
Subject contains filterIt selects all subjects with .par2 and not .vol*+*.par2.
It seems to show only the small .par2 files. you could use a composite filter to combine it with a size filter to specify the size also.

Can UE do it? Sure How then? Just put the .nzb files in the Import directory where UEs database is. And from what version does that work? (if it can, because I am still using v2.7+). Don't know from which version but UE has supported it a long time. For more info read this Handling NZB files jonib

In the Usenet Explorer settings directory, there are backup copies in the flt.dat.* files.dvd.collector wrote:Is there any way to recover them?
Just copy one of the older ones to flt.dat.
Of course close down UE first, if it's running.

Sure you can. You just need to get Usenet News server software. Not included in Usenet Explorer.

Re: Problem: .par2 files stall in queue
For unclear reasons, while downloading files that have been split with QuickPar, the last few files of the series (.par2 files) seem to stall in the queue. That's a feature, UE will by default download .par2 files only if they are needed for repair. check this help for more info. If you want to cha...

Re: Watch Filter
You need to create 3 filters. First filter: Subject=Rango Second: Size=4.5 gb Third filter: Composite=First filter & Second filter The third filter is the one you then use as the Watch filter. Look here for an example under Composite filter . More info here in section Permanent filters . jonib

Re: Task Manager
The Subject line in UE doesn't show the .NFO when it's in a collection, so when I go to View a Group with this NFO filter, it's empty, if it's not in the Subject Line, it won't see it. It would work maybe if they are expanded, or maybe in a Watch Filter. Thanks again for the help. I can't reproduce...
