Cannot find server or DNS error (UE:20002)

Hi, just FYI; I have been getting a lot of errors using the search as of late. This has been on and off for over a week. I cannot remember it may be longer. I usually try again later and it works but it has been down more than up. I get the error: Search Failed Cannot find server or DNS error (UE:20...

Re: Very Low bandwith

Hi! Just started using this program on a trial basis for 9 days. Have had no problems retrieving headers or DLing attachments. Just yesterday, I noted the retrieve heder and DL bandwith to be in the 1-3KB/sec speed. Previously, in the 300-450K range. I accessed the same Newshosting.com newsserver w...

I personally like the double click to close. I am unsure how that gets confusing myself. ;)

No different than double clicking in the top if a window and having it minimize or maximize. My browser also closes tabs this way as well as the small X.

Oh, i already know i can do that..But i dont think you grasped my meaning totally....ok You in a newsgroup filled with pictures..but you have no intention of downloading all of them..so you randomly click on them. You might click on the 1st,4th,11th,15th,21, picture and so on, right down the page. ...

EVEN BETTER! Try opening your folder TAB then turning split on, (icon at the top right by default) and pulling up the bottom of the window (the split is located right below the left/right scroll bar) to about 1/3 to 1/2 the screen. Then in the top part of the window when you see an article you would...

How about adding a small red 'x' to the far right of each tab's text area that is a close option?

I use Avant browser as my web browser and it has that to close all the web tabs. Works really really well.

if you have more than one save folder so several newsgroups/folder fall into it you can choose the newsgroups/folders in properties->newsgroups, select a folder then press "copy" and then press "paste" (to the right of "browse") to propagate the save location to all se...

In Properties->Newsgroups->Save: you can type or browse to a path. If you define a directory for each group, e.g. you have several MP3 groups subscribed but you've put them in a folder called 'MP3' and assign a path to just the folder then each time you open that folder UE will default to saving th...

Two things I would like to see. First, when you go to properties--newsgroups there is a save path option that you can tell UE where to save files. This is fine but a bit clumsy. Is there a way to add the ability to type in just a directory name here, instead of the full path, that will simply create...

say 3 years ago many people would ask for features which you mentioned but lately the trend is simple usage pattern, maybe because of influence of nzb and p2p where all those adornments just don't exist, so it is very difficult to develop in this direction when there is small demand for those featu...

The bad thing about the way you mention above is it cannot be sorted by subject so it makes It hard to look through all of these. how about using the new flag? incoming headers are marked as new new. edit menu->queued shows all queued. after you sorted out current messages you just press "mark...

as to mark somehow but not to download what could be done in theory (it is not currently implemented) is to replace the word "watch" with "download" and add another option "flag" so watched messages will be marked as flagged, but because i didn't want to overload the g...

I pretty much figured most things out now. There are still a lot of settings I do not understand but I have it working fairly well now. I have it pulling in new headers on a regular basis just fine. I have filters set up to catch certain things and this is working fine. The only thing I would like t...
