hi, I've recently discovered the world of, umm, for lack of a term, i'll use the popular site, warez rapidshare downloading. Rapidshare being just one of many storage sites. I'm pretty sure you probably know how the system works but i'll highlight what it's about anyway. a person becomes a member of...

help in getting a part..
I'm pulling more then a few files from astraweb around day 190. for most files they are complete. However a few are missing just 1 part. Worse yet, they do not have a par set. Arg! that lousy .1% has got me on five files that I don't really want to give up as they are part of a season package. I tri...

Seems I had Retry Failed Tasks set to blank. I set it to 999. I'm aware this high of a value will force me to use the menu Retry option on selected articles. At least the try data won't get lost when exiting. Duplicate newsgroup?!? There's a thought. This might work. Disk space is an issue I ...

Thanks Alex, It's my understanding this will limit all servers for that group not just one server. I still need the headers so others can try and fetch when it's their time to try. I have access to a distribution server. it's primary function is server to server not the traditional giganews access. ...

1) the Progress column is one of the most useful in terms of data and the most wasteful in terms of screen space. I typically get what I can from a server then wait, up to, sometimes, 30 days before filling out. Progress column is really handy in helping me decide what to unpause next. the real time...

way to limit server fetching to n days?
Is there a way to tell a specific server to not try and fetch items older then n days. in my case I want the server not try from any group after 15 days. currently I use the detach newsgroup from server feature. this solution works but it's very messy. I also use import groups to avoid a server but ...

disable not disconnecting server
I know it's not disconnecting because I can stop and restart UE
and the server will now tell me I'm out of credits for the day.
I have force authentication enabled also.

I already do the rename trick. now my pass shows up in the server list. your not quite understanding what I'm asking either. besides a server having it's own login the web page where I get more credits for that server has another login. in my case the two are not the same. I probably use the web pag...

News servers accounts are obtained through web sites. Once an account is establish most places allow us to login and with a few clicks to change our accounts. Problem is this happens maybe twice a year and we forget or lose our login information. I'd like to see a note box associated with each serve...

two other paths of thought here. groups like Boneless are huge compared to the others. non premium servers always have problems accessing and keeping decent retention and completeness with these groups. It's been my experience that some home routers have major problems when trying to encountering mu...

Thanks I figured it out with your description. I'm able to do exactly what I wanted. I have to say though it's an odd way to work with NZBs and multiple import tabs. It's not exactly intuitive. One has to select the import tab before importing and the place one selects it is part of the search bar n...

Multiple Import Groups
I use nzb's a whole lot. I'd like to import them to different groups instead of what seems to be the unchangeable default "Import" OR import them to the original newsgroup. I want to be able to use Custom Collections-Add and move the selected to another Import tab instead of grouping them ...
