Yes, the samplefile was not packed en the main movie was packed.
So it seems that unpacking doesn't check for filennames already there or not.
That (in the other case) the samplefile overwrote the main movie was odd, because usually that renames correctly.
Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that

unpack overwrites
Sometimes I download a movie, it then unpacks and after (or during) the unpack the samplefile is downloaded (that happens sometimes when I have the "sort article queue" set to priority). If that samplefile has the same name as the unpacked movie, it overwrites the unpacked movie and yes, I...

Cannot download specific files
For some reason I cannot download certain files.
When you search for "Clint_Eastwood-Raw_Hide_Deel2_S2_DVD5_DVD4.part08.rar" for example, it wont download with UE (it gives the red questionmark) but another program has no problems.
Any ideas anybody?

Single error I think. I mean, I didn't see any retries. No problems with RAM before. And yes, I am sure I didn't use Quickpar. So there was a verify error and with good reason, because then I used Quickpar that repaired the files. I think too (like dengle suggested) that playing Grid (a very recent ...

Repair: Verify failed error
I got a "Repair: Verify failed error", but with Quickpar.exe everything repaired without any errors (and then I could unppack ofcourse). It happened when I was downloading "RMB.2008.Pal.Retail.CCE9.DVD5.AnotherW@yTeam" from alt.binaries.u4e and I was playing GRID online during th...

Does saving move or copy/delete ?
Well, the whole question is in the topic. Maybe it is too obvious that saving moves the file from the databasefolder to the saving location, but when I watch the speed and the interference with other harddisk activities, I get the impression that the saving process goes faster, if the databasefolder...

It happened again and now I first looked into it, before unpacking. The reason is/was I downloaded and saved the first 40 rars of a DVD to a certain folder and the remaining rars to the same folder, but this time mapped as a networkdrive. So they all end up in the same folder, but UE isn't aware of ...

I am pretty sure there weren't any tasks left, when I restarted UE. Just now I retried the scenario with a DVD and all worked fine. Now I think the oddest thing about the other download, was the fact UE didn't skip the pars, when there were plenty. In fact, UE behaved completely (holy shit, now I re...
