Oh, cool, will try UE - hadn't realised you'd made it available to NP users
As you say, FAT partition!

Unknown socket error (82)
Things been fine until suddenly came up with this error for any attempt at downloading bodies. Headers still OK. Any suggestions?

Whilst I rarely need to prioritise each server (ironically just finished a server priority job!), I do need to give priority to various 'net apps and use NetLimiter (www.netlimiter.com) which is excellent. This way I can control say, Get New Headers and prioritise Articles from different Servers whi...

Surely getting at the totals would be OK as you're already getting the Time left? Personally, I'd find total MB remaining useful Also, if D/L rates and D/L'd totals would be useful, I can recommend NetLimiter. Its primary purpose is to apply D/L rates to each app (tho' you can do this within streams...

Task Manager: Size of download? Pending tasks: source NG?
Task Manager shows Time Left. Any chance of also showing oustanding size? Not that I'm unhappy with time remaining, just relate to size better - especially with flucuating bandwidth! And there does seem to be a bit of space there (?) Pending tasks show all outstanding tasks. Any chance of showing so...

Apologies Lunatic - yes, now disabled Auto Restart but I've not been running SETI to test - maybe I'll give it a whirl when I've less critical apps running as the reboot corrupts some of my data (not critical, but a pain to rectify!) Thanks Alex - and BTW a great app which I really like, despite cur...

Yeah, runs as a background task utilising idle so CPU is at 100% (hence my concern re. heat, but its not that). Does not use any drivers. My theory (and strictly only a theory!) is that NewsPro likes to have a processor idle reserve which of course doesn't exist. As mentioned SETI occupys Idle time,...

SETI keeps crashing NewPro
Couldn't understand why my system kept rebooting - seemed to be only when NewsPro was running, but its actually when NewsPro AND my SETI are running. Each will run on their own, but together definitely not. Didn't used to do this (hence a long time to track it down, as I've a number of apps that run...
