When I download headers from a very big group, sometimes there are missing headers (in the middle) that I try to fill in. (Usually it is due to computer crash.) Is it possible to change newsgroup destination types after the newsgroup has been created ? Particulary I am interested to change my newsgroup from msg-id direct to compact binary.

As an old NP user, I used to run mutliple instances of NP with different databases.
Now with UE, is it better (in term of system resource and stability wise) to run multiple instances of UE with different databases or one instance of UE with one big database ?

Now I am wondering what is the advantage and disadvantage of the various Newsgroup initial load states ? I believe the default is Unload. Would it be better if I change it to Auto ?

How do you do Global Search (similar to the one in NP) in Usenet Explorer ? I notice that Global View only open headers in open groups plus bodies/pending/errors in all other groups.
