Never had a single problem with UE on 64-bit Vista. Runs faster IMHO.

Isn't this already there? The pause button is programmable for the amount of slowness desired. So set the pause to say 25% of your bandwidth, and there you have a tool bar button to slow things down to a set level.

I had this happen to me once. Un-installed UE, cleared all directories, even searched registry to remove any traces (not sure that was needed, but did it anyway.) Re-installed and has worked perfectly since. Sure, it's a tad overboard, but hey it worked.

Great idea, love it. If it is an option, make it default on. As LarryM posted, what are the icon types? edit: had an idea, how about a column with full icon sizes (or big enough to fit the column and be recognizable) that match the Windows icon associated with the files??? Maybe as a 3rd option for ...

I've noticed this problem with downloading headers and articles in newfeeds.com servers. I always get "max conn exceeded 4>3" errors while doing both tasks. I've only got servers set to 3 connections max, so why does it do a 4th?
