I hate dragging up ancient threads but... Any advance on this? Eleven months on and I'm still receiving two notifications. No other phpBB forums I'm subscribed to does this. Like the previous poster, I get notification of a reply to a thread I've participated in, respond to it and then receive anoth...

Why don't we just settle on referring to him as 'Mr. Fruitloop'?

Whatever the motivation, I struggle to comprehend any reasons to want to piss off so many people in as prolonged a length of time as possible.

Scenario 1: Run UE, move one of the bars to the left and exit/restart. The bar will remain on the left while the other stays where it was previously. This shows that UE sets the 'remember position' flag during exit. I presume if UE crashes, the position would not be saved. Scenario 2: Run UE, restor...

i see (binary groups posts) he doesn't post regularly looks like it started two weeks days ago, maybe some kind of periodic mental disorder, full moon, new year i don't know :) It's been going longer than that. I noticed them months ago and I would assume they've been around since before I saw them...

UE will remember the position of the toolbars when it exits. If you only login remotely or change the resolution and then change back again without exiting UE, the toolbars will move back to their previous position. If you do the same again but have UE set to Finish & exit, the positions will be...

if you can reproduce it let me know what is the sequence, i could fix it if i can reproduce it reliably... I've been trying to think how I can do this but there seems nothing substantial right now, nothing to repeat the effect every time. It's an annoying little problem. I know resolution changes c...

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing a Save layout in UE. Quite often, especially if I log in remotely and the resolution changes for that, the Quick filter and Search bars will move to the far left. I know it's picky but I just like them in the middle where they're slightly more 'to hand'. Then, to so...

Yes, I notice that now also. Maybe it isn't a bug but a design feature to stop people accidentally losing their toolbars and panicking. Alex can shed more light on this. Since it appears in the list of customisable shortcuts, I assumed it would be possible. I don't use this myself as I find reducing...

You can configure keys yourself to show/hide these toolbars. It would mean using two separate keys but at least it's better than nothing. Right-click on the main toolbar and then Customise. Click the Keyboard tab then select View in the dropdown menu. 'Quick filter bar' and 'Search service bar' are ...

It seems the ISP had some strange network errors , or everyone was downloading at the same time, lol. It was just weird to see such a bad speed to both services drop like that. It's much better now. Give everyone a motorway and a fast car and there will still be a traffic jam before long... :D As f...

I wonder which ISP jd uses. The language seems to have some English colloquialisms which would suggest to me Virgin Media as it is the only ISP in this country to provide such a speed - is this the case? Ngroups I find to have a more decent speed during night time (UK) hours. Speeds through their se...

Re: Feature request: Copy filename into clipboard.

I'll often do a file search to see if I already have the attachment referred to in a header. I've discussed this several times before with Alex, or at least another way to solve this problem. I proposed a duplicate database where, for each attachment, UE generates a signature each time it downloads...

I had this earlier but my firewall popped up asking for access to a new address. I allowed it and it worked fine. It seems that some firewalls aren't asking permission when anything changes.

I guess I will have to look around for a better virus protection. Don't be so hasty, especially since you've already paid for a subscription. Kaspersky is actually the most consistently highest rated AV program in terms of what it can catch, along with being updated every few hours. I will have to ...

Not being there when the update was released doesn't necessarily mean you didn't eventually get it. Kaspersky by default checks and downloads new updates (both definitions and program updates) every few hours. If your computer wasn't on during this time, the definitions would have been downloaded, i...
