TO: Alex:

OK, as per your request.

I am a registered user of NewsPro. I am unable to download the list of NewsGroups from any server, either the free servers or my paid provider.

I used the trial version till that expired, and I did delete and remove that entire directory before I loaded up this registered version, now the registered version does not work for me.

PLEASE HELP

it might be your firewall, check newspro permissions in the firewall definitions, if so you should see also error like 'connection refused' or 'dns error' in tasks menu->task manager->(relevant) 'errors' pane.

Nope, I disabeled firewall, I use Norton Firewall

do you see any errors in tasks menu->task manager?

if it is getting newsgroup list - the errors pane next to the right of the newsgroup list pane.
