Can't make usenet explorer default for nzbs

Post by shak »

Hi !

I've just bought usenet explorer and i can't make it default program for nzbs

I had newsbin pro before and i removed it with youruninstaller . Ive tried to make it default through right clicking on nzbs and choosing ue.exe but it doesn't work

Also i went in edit -> properties -> general -> default newsreader and it doesn't work either . Not only that but now i can't uncheck the default newsreader checkbox in order to check it again

Is there a way to do it ?

Maybe with messing with the registry or something

Thanks

I've managed to fix it using ccleaner , cleaning the registry and then using open nzb file with usenet explorer !

You could try to check edit menu->properties->search/import, nzb files, associate with nzb files, in Windows 7 run UE as administrator.
