anyone else having problems with Astraweb downloads?

Post by DonM »

Hi,
I have been a UE/Astraweb user for several years and have always found Astraweb to have fantastic completion rates. I have also found that uploads of TV shows by teevee@4u.net have been exceptionally reliable.

In the past week I have been having great difficulty getting a complete download of any show that was posted from about 250 to 100 days ago.

Try searching "[57155]*camelot" It appears to be complete in the UE window, but is mostly missing when I do the D/L. It's far too bad for the PAR2s to fix it. Also "[61443]*treme" - same thing

just wondering if others have seen this?
thanks

Thanks Alex,
I just got a reply from Daniel at Astraweb. He suggested switching from "news.astraweb.com" to "eu.news.astraweb.com"
I'll give that a try... have to go back to the Help file to refresh my old memory as to how to add a server

Switching to the European Astraweb server made no difference at all.

Thanks Alex,
I have gotten several replies from them... they are "working on it"
Don

PS.. looks like it's happening again. Yesterdays posts are barely recoverable using all available PAR2s
