Creating your own NZB files. How?

Post by dxcarnadi »

Hello

I use UE v5.0.3
I want to create a NZB-file with UE.
In online Help there is a ToDo-picture. See 2. attachment.

The first step is "easy".
But ... after "context menu" I cannot find "the second step" .. Advanced -> Export headers
See 1. attachment.
Can someone help me?
What I've done false?
Thank you.

It won't create a nzb file from the search service view, it is possible to implement, but it wasn't yet.

You can import those headers into the import group, then export them into the nzb file.

You could try to email me your settings minus newsgroups (maybe change passwords to something temporary, then change them back when I'm done) along with an example how to reproduce it, there is something in settings which makes the difference. Likely need to disable some behavior by default, which is optimal for most servers, but doesn't work in your particular case.

Hello Alex

If you have leisure time and are motivated :-) .. you can read/solve my "problem" - "Where are the downloaded articles/files?" - in this forum.

Now I know that NNTP is a TCP-communication .. ergo handshaking.
With packet analyzer (Wireshark) I can theoretically "see" the communicarion between UE and Usenet-server.

What I cannot see is .. what UE does with the data ......
15 years ago .... you had more time .... :-)
Thank you.
