I download thru the newest UE something with a name "Bridget Jones Schokolade zum Frühstück".
Please notice the Umlaut in "Frühstück".

UE finds something and it creates 2 download folders:
1. Bridget Jones Schokolade zum Frühstück
2. Bridget Jones Schokolade zum Fr³hst³ck

In edit menu->properties->save/unpack, unpack do you have "Unrar to subdir" and "Derive name after rar" checked?

If yes, was one of those directories created when unraring?

What is the exact download (days ago/poster)?

With your settings no directories are created.

Are you using "download&save (auto)"? But even then it will create only one directory based on the subject and then will unrar into "Unrar" subfolder in that directory.

The rest should come from within the downloaded files.

I tried several of them, the last appears to be from the poster yenc...videofreak, I see nothing.

I have the impression, that you need more information from UE concerning that download (from me).
And I do not understand exactly which information you need.

OK .. at the next "successful download with Umlaut" I try to make/collect "all clickable" screenshots .. that is .. all information/list concerning the download.
In the meantime .. I can live with UE.

PS - I don't change the settings of Save/Unpack Tab in Properties.

What I mean when I do search I get a number of results.
So I'm not sure which one.

In UE I input the sentence "Schokolade zum Frühstück" and afterwards .. I make the Screenshot of the display.
Do you find the information?

And these are the files .. and in PDF file is a word .. Videofreak!

Is it possible that the directories are created during unrar? The actual files go into one of them?

I think I reproduced your settings and UE doesn't create any directories, but there is a directory inside the rar, so it is unrar source code embedded into UE which would create it.

Which Windows is it 7? 10?, is the display language German? I could try to switch to German temporarily. Maybe it has something to do with the unrar source code.

You may disable auto unrar and then check if any directories are created, then invoke unrar manually and check again if they appear only then.

Yes .. the second directory is created just-before/during unrar.
Yes .. the actual files go into the second directory.
The first directory can I (after unrar) delete without looking what inside it.

I use Windows-10 Version 1803.
German.

I know that the second directory is created by unrar.

It is just a nuisance .. each time to check where (in which directory) the "actual files" are.
