Feature Request: Speed limit on toolbar

Post by nyquil67 »

I'd request the ability to add either a drop down icon, or a form function to be able to type in next to the pause/speed limit icon. I find myself often having to change the speed of my downloads as I have to do different tasks, and it would be much more convenient if I could toggle it without going into the settings menus. This is obviously not an important change, but one I would welcome, and I would think would be somewhat easy to implement.

I second this request.

At the moment I just pause for a few minutes, because I am to lazy to open the options panel ;)

Very good idea! I often find myself pausing several times over as other online tasks take longer than my original estimate. Maybe something like a graduated scale, or adjustment through the tray icon right click menu?

Isn't this already there? The pause button is programmable for the amount of slowness desired. So set the pause to say 25% of your bandwidth, and there you have a tool bar button to slow things down to a set level.
