I want to define search paramaters and store them for later use. Similar to Filter editor.
Extra parameters:
- Minimum/maximum filesize
- Search without a subject -> For checking everything in a certain group.

Or even better no difference between search and filters. Just an all purpose filter that can be used for both

as to group browsing - unlikely - only because of bandwidth limitations, but there is a server mode which allows to organize headers per group, i developed the code but don't engage it.
with file size there is a catch, since sometimes small files like last part of a set or par2 file will be not listed, even after adding search service intrinistic collections (which may be added in the future) some posts with badly formed subject won't be classified as such collections, as to spam i have some mechanisms in place so most results are valid and besides you can get search results without file size distinction and then you can apply the file size filter in the search results view.
