Search Service Down? (Verizon routing)
Re: Search Service Down?
verizon has a routing issue (it appears some locations in FL and PA are affected) i've sent you pm what to tell their support.
when they fix their routing table the problem will be resolved for everyone.

Re: Search Service Down? (Verizon routing)
Hello Alex,
Would you mind sending me the info to tell support? I am still having the problem (Verizon - FL).
Thank you,
-Kendall

Re: Search Service Down? (Verizon routing)
The issue has been reported (not an easy task since the route is working from most points inclusive tech support location), hopefully it will be fixed shortly.
If you have a working proxy server elsewhere (e.g. restricted to your ip address), it is possible to bypass the problem by defining "access proxy" for the search service entry in edit menu->properties->proxies, the data flow is not compromised since it is encrypted.
Update: they fixed it.
