i always get search failed, dns error message

I always get "search failed, DNS error" message when I search or when I download a file. what's happening? how do i resolve the issue? thanks.

Do you have a firewall running? The search service IP address may have changed recently and your firewall, if you have one, is blocking it and you need to update it to be allowed.

this happened to me, turns out that i was sucking all my bandwidth! try turning down your D/L bandwidth, use the pause button until your search is done. fixed it for me. one other thing you might have to search 2 or 3 times until you get a dns reply.
