Is there a way I can set the default view based upon which group I am opening?

For instance.

If I open up the wallpaper group I like to look at that group in one configuration. But if I open up the Comic group I would like to view the group without the split view.

Is there a way to accomplish this?

In the newsgroup properties there are options to control some settings, sorting, threads and collections.

If I open up the wallpaper group I like to look at that group in one configuration. But if I open up the Comic group I would like to view the group without the split view.

Unfortunately I don't believe split view can be controlled per newsgroup/folder, only if you want it active or not by default.
