Never had this problem before, but this is the second time in a week.
I qeued a DVD for download.
3 parts are corrupt, and it's missing 3 blocks.
There are 17 par files checked, but they stay Pending, no matter what I try.
Why keep these par files pending ?? What can I check ?
PAR files stay pending
I do not have servers with zero tasks.
I have checked and unchecked the "mark as paused" and "mark limited volume", but makes no difference.
Not even sure anymore how it should be configured?
I do not get any errors. I don't even see it trying to download.
Hmm, while typing this, I selected one allready selected part for "download&save immediatly", and now the part is downloaded, and repair started, and now even is unrarring....
I do not understand, but at least now I don't have to use newsleecher to get a single par-file...
Do you have any other ideas Alex ??

maybe you have other tasks in the queue which are being downloaded ahead?
in the "running" (computer icon) tab in the task manager (it is the next pane to the right of the "articles" tab), is the tab is computer icon green or grey, if green if you click the tab you should see something being downloaded there (some running tasks)?
if there is nothing else left to download - there should be no reason why something should stay pending in the queue and requre invoking additional "download&save" to resume.

The only tab showing parts is the articles one.
And there the par parts have the status "Pending".
I'll try deleting the setting, and configure UE.
Than I will wait till the next time parts are corrupted, to see how thing go then. The problem is only with par repair files, so i'll have to wait for that to happen.
Thanks so far Alex.

can you email me screenshot of those pending tasks so the leftmost column also is visible (the status column), maybe those tasks are paused.
depending on how queue is sorted the state icon (the leftmost column) should be man with hat black icon or black clock icon, any other icon would mean the task is paused or suspended.
also is "tasks menu->suspend article tasks marked for later download" checked or not? if it is checked and properties->tasks->marked for download later priority is the same or higher when you mark for download it would cause for those tasks to be suspended. also if the suspend menu option is checked try to uncheck it if it is the cause the issue will be resolved.

Downloaded a lot of old posts today, but must of them are still complete, so UE didn't have to repair them.
The ones that needed repairing were repaired correctly.
I also redownloaded the DVD that gave the problems earlier.
It still had some corrupted parts, but UE corrected that perfectly after downloading the extra par files.
So I give up. At this moment everything goes as it allways did before.
Sorry for bothering you Alex.... Keep up the good work !!!
