Hello all,

It would be great if newspro qould autobackup the database every so often. I run the app 24-7 and every so often win xp takes a nose dive.

Anyways, love the new features. The worlds best newsreader.

i'm working on this capability, it is not quite trivial since i want to address all other related suggestions within the same effort.

Please zip up the database too to save space on our HDs

Request: the ability to let Database backup reside elsewhere.
Reason: database get's VERY big sometimes, copying and/or recovery costs much time and causes extreme harddrive thrashing.

I actually logged in to these forums just to request this. Seems like other ppl have noticed the need for database auto backup too.

I also don't shutdown my computer and thus most programs I use run also 24/7.
