Help! Flagged all headers by mistake

Post by lestertrad »

I just pressed Alt-Z and flagged all the selected headers in a group when in
fact I wanted to mark them read. Some were already flagged. Is there a way I
can undo the last flagging of all the headers without losing the flag on the
ones that were already flagged?

Sorry for bothering you with this, but it's going to cause me to lose a lto
of work if I can't undo it. I hope there's a way...

The only way to handle it is to kill the UE process; if you have periodic save all set - before it has saved the newsgroup.

When a newsgroup is changed - it is marked by asterisk. When it saves (commits changes to the disk - the asterisk will disappear), it also (naturally) commits changes when you exit UE normally.

If you kill the process the state of changed newsgroups before the last save will be restored, if it is in the middle of saving of a newsgroup it is safe and the newsgroup in question won't be saved.
