Joining bodies

Post by BitStream »

I'm completely new to UE so likely I'm overlooking the obvious

After downloading I have 12GB of bodies.
How do I join, par check, and unpack them?

Problem solved.
I decided to redownload the files with the save option and UE started joining the bodies.

Is there a in depth UE manual?
The licence of the newsreader I'm currently using (and liking) expires in 14 days.
The demo version of UE expires at the same time.
So I have to know a fair bit about UE by that time.
I'm especially interested in filters. The syntax is quite simple :D but I don't even have the slightest clue how to apply them

Have you looked at Getting started, Selected Help Topics or Usenet Explorer Help Notes.

Thanks jonib.

I've read some of the manuals before I asked mu question but there was one I didn't read yet.
I can now apply a filter to headered newsgroups.
Unfortunately headering is no option for me because my USP's header retention is only 10 days.
Is there a way to set complex search commands and save them for later use?
