I'm completely new to UE so likely I'm overlooking the obvious
After downloading I have 12GB of bodies.
How do I join, par check, and unpack them?
Joining bodies
Re: Joining bodies
Problem solved.
I decided to redownload the files with the save option and UE started joining the bodies.
Is there a in depth UE manual?
The licence of the newsreader I'm currently using (and liking) expires in 14 days.
The demo version of UE expires at the same time.
So I have to know a fair bit about UE by that time.
I'm especially interested in filters. The syntax is quite simple but I don't even have the slightest clue how to apply them

Have you looked at Getting started, Selected Help Topics or Usenet Explorer Help Notes.BitStream wrote:Is there a in depth UE manual?
jonib
Get Usenet Explorer Automatic Updater here. You want to flatter me?
Re: Joining bodies
Thanks jonib.
I've read some of the manuals before I asked mu question but there was one I didn't read yet.
I can now apply a filter to headered newsgroups.
Unfortunately headering is no option for me because my USP's header retention is only 10 days.
Is there a way to set complex search commands and save them for later use?
