Cut -N- Paste ?

Should I be able to cut-n-paste everywhere in UE?

Reason I ask, I noticed that one of my "Watch" filters wasn't finding its intended targets. I attempted to "copy" (^C) what I was looking for and "paste" (^V) into the ad hoc search box - nothing happened.

I brought up a text editor and the copy itself did work, so its the paste that is failing.

I'd really like to be able to move text between these two places so I can confirm they work as intended.

There are options in the newsgroup view context menu (right mouse click) -> advanced, copy subject and copy author, shortcuts may be different, you can associate desired shortcuts in the toolbar customize menu -> keyboard.
