To see everything you may uncheck edit menu->properties->kill filters/blacklist, "enable built in spam filter" especially "downloadable".
If you see something useful there let me know, but those are prevalently just randomized headers mostly posted by (likely) nzb websites and without the nzb file which they don't post, but rather present it outside usenet, the data is just senseless gibberish. Moreover sometimes they randomize subject/poster per part (which is typically 730KB or so) and the header list may be filled with random single headers really fast and those headers consume RAM very fast too as they cannot be grouped unless there is the imported nzb file which is absent.
I didn't update the filter file for some time, I see it shows March, on the server there is more, but not by much, the client is using basically the same file I just haven't uploaded the latest yet (for no reason).
I think it is not a good idea to flood even past active newsgroups with this kind of posts, since I suspect other usenet clients don't even have such filter, so the effectively spammed newsgroups will be perceived as dead as to header download. Somehow usenet providers don't understand that since reining few mega-posters wouldn't be difficult if they wanted to. What is going on now is akin to few "anonymous" third parties claiming the usenet ownership, not just utilizing usenet by using its storage mechanism in a reasonable way, e.g. creating and posting to separate newsgroups.
If you find something of value I can always adjust the filter https://www.usenetexplorer.com/wildmats.txt
If it is something different let me know. The randomized headers' count per month is in billions.
PS:
Somehow I missed your post since after Dec 8 I was busy with the latest OpenSSL integration (as the result it is now already utilized by the search service, the problem was actually some peculiarity when maybe half of websites require the client declaring support for tls extensions for likely no reason and I'm used to employ the minimum code when integrating anything is using static linking instead of dlls, so all even works with the previous SSL version with that fix (for usenet servers it works as it is), just I needed it for v7.5 release and adding latest OpenSSL was a bonus since as it was found out that right now it is not absolutely necessary since tls v1.2 is still widely supported, but in the future who knows.
