News Group Download

Rebuilding my PC after it died. I wanted to set up a download from a specific newsgroup and forgot how. Looked thru the manual but it does not match the current version. Any instructions available?

In View menu->Workspace right click on the newsgroup and invoke Open&Get new headers or similar options.

If nothing appears you can try to uncheck Edit menu->Properties->Enable built in spam filter especially "Downloadable", but you should see nothing useful there.

Hi,

That's the path I remembered but when I do that, it opens up a window that is labeled "Import&download&save" that looks as if it is asking me for the name of an existing *.nzb

In edit menu->properties->newsgroups check if the newsgroup entry icon to the very left isn't marked with "I" (Import type), if so delete the group and create it again with "Import group" unchecked.
