Database backup

Post by Newscrazy »

Newspro is awesome in most respects.

The two biggest "peeves" of mine are:

1) can be very slow when opening a folder (understand why, folder has a gazillion headers in it)

2) headers go "bye-bye" when it crashes - this is annoying, very very very annoying - especially when it takes the better part of a DAY to refresh them

Is there a way to make sure they hang around?

There's a checkbox for database backup in the Properties>>General.

Remember though, the backup is made when you start NewsPro.

So the way to go is the following:
- get your headers in the large group
- shutdown newspro
- restart newspro

This way the newest headers will be in you backup.

(ofcours you first have to check the checkbox slotboxed mentioned
