firewall Which one works?

Ok zonealarm seams to cause alot of problems with newspro.

What firewall software works with newspro?

my personal experience is good with
Sygate Personal Firewall Pro.

downloading and uploading always worked with this firewall for me.

I had continual problems with both Sygate and Zone Alarm. Been using Keiro Presonal Firewall for a while now with out difficulty.

at the moment i am using zonealarm 5.1.011.000 because this has popup blocking and sygate has not.

I can post and dowload very well with this version of zonealarm.
Strange thing however: when i shutdown zonealarm, and later want to put zonealarm on, the computer immediately shuts off, and restarts itself.
This has nothing to do with newspro, maybe it is a bug of zonealarm version, or some other settings in my computer.

so maybe you could give this version a try.

I'm also using ZoneAlarm 5.1.011.000 and works fine here too. Don't have that shutdown problem that bassie mentions though. I'm using Win 2000.

I'm using Kerio 2.1.5 and never have an issue.

I'm using Norton Internet Security and all seems to be ok.

Zone Alarm Pro 5.1.011.000 and don't have any problems at all

Kerio 2.1.5 here. Never one issue with anything.

Bit defender professional 8 works a dream - no problems so far and you can download a trial version from their site
