Setting up a string of proxies

Post by Hank »

I'd like to know weather someone could tell me how I can post messages through a (string of) proxies.
This should be possible (as I understand). I can't figure out all the different options in the 'proxies' page :( .

TIA

you can use at most 2 chain proxy, one "local proxy" (it could be any) and then the server associated proxy (dedicated proxy in the list control). The local proxy check box for the server should be checked (green plus sign) and the dedicated proxy name should be also green colored (for the server to which you are going to post).

Try sockscap.
I have tried myself but I guess newspro can be run through sockscap.
(I have tried xnews, agent, netscape they are all ok)

sockscap is an awkward way to do that, the "local proxy" does the same, in addition you can use one more dedicated proxy. You can also change proxies while the program is running.
