Great job with 1.12 1.23 Alex, it looks great...

1. How do I use a Kill filter in 25 words or less. Do I build it as a 'negated' filter (which kills fine as a view filter), or set it with the subject(s) that I want to kill and leave negate unchecked?

2. Please keep track of open views and restore them, along with the cursor position (top or bottom). It tracks sorting order just fine but puts the cursor at wrong (bottom) when I want it at top (latest entry).

in ue for kill filters you just state there what you want to kill.

with the cursor position just the same code is used everywhere i'll try to check how to change it for the opening view case after i finish with indexing.
