Incredibly clever program, but still learning; sorry if these questions have been asked before. I haven't found them in this forum, neither the answers.
1. Is it possible to invert all the files in the task manager, or is it only possible to move files up and down?
2. Is it possible to let UE search for files with a specific criterium on a chosen interval, and then download these files automatically? This would make it possible to download a movie overnight, for example, which still is being uploaded.
Thanks!
two novice questions
in the task manager only the 'downloads' pane can be sorted (but all added files will be added on the bottom, only current items are sorted unlike in newsgroup views where the exact order is always maintained).
as to the article pane all activity is going on the top it is the reason why the queue is moving upwards.

it is possible to watch for files if you define filters and use watch and auto get headers (edit menu->properties->watch/auto).
the only exception is the indexing service to avoid too many search requests since it is only a single regular computer (but you can use e.g. xpat - so called search - groups, it is set on group creation, since they need only your news servers).
you can read about xpat groups at http://www.netwu.com/newspro/xpat.htm , the difference is in newspro you needed to prepend group name with #, in UE you check 'search' check box when you create the newsgroup (also in UE the implementation is faster but it is a different story).
but if you mean just regular groups you are subcribed to you don't need any xpat groups, just define watch filter(s) and auto get headers for the newsgroups.

Thanks Alex.
As to my first question I notice it's a matter of arranging things already in the import box.
As to my second question I'll play around with it for a while and no doubt some new questions will arise.
A "how-to"- list would be convenient, but I guess that creating a good and functional help file might even be more complex than creating the program itself.
