Hi there, Alex!
Sorry for asking something I think you have answered before but I can't seem to be able to find it here.
What exactly is the command line I should use when creating a Usenet Explorer shortcut I want to load a certain database?
For example:
1st DB named Multimedia:
"D:\Program Files\Net Tools\Usenet Explorer\UE.exe" Multimedia
2nd DB named MP3s
"D:\Program Files\Net Tools\Usenet Explorer\UE.exe" MP3s
Are the above shortcut "destinations" correct? They don't work for me... I have to manually pick the database directory everytime I run one of these...
Thanks!
Command Line for loading a certain database
it is not newspro.
you need to define the database path as target.
if it contain spaces enclose the path in double quotes like
"c:\usenet explorer\ue.exe" "c:\ue db\multimedia"
one reason usenet explorer doesn't use the registry so no place to keep instance names and secondly it is more logical since in general path defines database in the unique way.
