Error 20002

Hi,
I'm trying to switch from NewsPro to Usenet Explorer and i'm not very successfull!!!
I have an error 20002 in UE when I try to connect to the servers to get the newsgroup list.
I've checked this forum and this error exists also with Newspro.
I've tried to shutdown the firewall to see if it makes a difference... no chance...
Newspro works correctly and get access to the newsgroup...
Does someone have an idea of what's going wrong???

but it is firewall.

maybe you have remnants from another firewall left, i had a user with similar problem before.

try to download e.g. atom clock

http://www.worldtimeserver.com/atomic-clock/

if you make it work it is not firewall problem

Hi Alex,
You're right...
I've checked once again the firewall parameters... nthing about UE.
So I decided to uninstall UE and reinstall it again...
Magic, it worked...
