Auto Save attachments problem

After years of trouble free service, the auto-save feature of UE has stopped working and I can't figure out how to fix it. The problem started when the save-to disc ran out of space and UE suspended. Since then I have cleared out tons of HDD space, checked all settings etc but when I select download and save (with or without auto) the attachment s are downloaded but can only be saved manually by opening each and every message and then right-clicking the attachment. Even right-clicking the messages in the Task Manager / Download list won't work.
Anyone got any ideas - this is driving me crazy and wasting a helluva lot of time.

Check that Tasks->Suspend save queue isn't selected.

Thanks Josef - that was it! I'd forgotten that there are items under the Menu Bar that don't appear under Newsgroups / Properties (where I did most of my tweaking ages ago and where I always go to search out problems).

in addition to invoking the option manually the save queue is being suspended e.g. when you are running out of disk space and a warning is given about that.

in the next release i'll add another warning when trying to save with save queue suspended to prevent the misunderstanding in the future.

Thanks Alex - that would be useful.
The "disc full" scenario happens so infrequently that it's easy to forget how to remedy the consequences with the present arrangement.
