now all runs quite stable.

i'm looking into different development venues when i'm done with current things probably in a week, usenet explorer development took several years so i had to settle some other things that accumulated abandoned during the time.

par and rar could go well along with more specialized nzb file processing, or when user connects or confirms the set to be treated as a single whole, to compile the par/rar code together with the ue code no problem, the question is how to apply it, if we are talking only about nzb file processing it is all very simple as all related posts are already categorized together. something could be implemented like forced or nzb binded collections, as to now collections are derived from the subject and even not reflected on the storage level (so it is possible to change collection grouping rules without changing the storage format).

i want to have clarity (it means reasonably well working code, not just concepts) towards the date when registrations may start to be recycled (the initial version has been released in June, 2005 and the current price was/is about two times less than other commercial solutions while providing higher stability as to both service and client), until then it is unlikely any of registrations will expire, in development terms it is not so much time left, adding complicated features may take quite a while.

Hi Alex, I liked your program so much that I have actually bought it twice so I could give the second licence as a birthday present to a friend of mine.
I think it would be a good idea to keep your initial client-base by extending their licence, this way they will promote your product.
Any further development should be endorsed by them by paying a reduced fee.
New Usenet Explorers should be able to choose between the different versions 1 and 2 (etc..)

so far I've found your software far superior amongst other products.

Amongst the improvements I'd suggest are:
-clearer folder names
When downloading an NZB the folders gets 'nzb' added to the beginning AND after the file name, this confuses my filing system.
-an option to automatically create the folder into which the searched items are to be saved. the folder name is the the search term.
for example: I search for puppylinux version x.x, I select the related headers ,download to folder would not ask for a location, it would download to a folder named puppylinux version x.x (my search term) into my default folder (with / without confirmation depending on my preferences)
- a test button to test the status of the search server would be nice.
-integration of creation of nzb via search with auto par/rar
-point and click filtering

As soon I can clearly describe additional ideas about your program I will.

noone has not yet been repeatedly charged since we have two year license and we leave this question at least until summer, right now i don't have any idea, the project sutainability should be taken into account and despite the license reservations i need to maximize the chance the license terms are honored non-conditionally as it has had place up to now.

as to saving there are some options, autodownload&save (save without asking and with some additional options in properties) is disabled by default so not to confuse users.

i cannot manually create nzb like human-editor services if you mean that, as to given nzb file or user selection i answered it above.
