Check "recoverable errors" under edit -> properties -> general and ensure whatever error message is returned when the net connection is lost is listed among those errors. I had to add a few for myself as well, here's my string:

too*many|limit|timeout|10061|exceeded?maximum

The last one I discovered as I'm sharing my usenet provider with someone else and the server throws a different error message than my other provider anyway, ensure that whatever error message is generated is listed in the string (separated by the "pipe" symbol aka "|")
