downloaded headers not showing up in newsgroup

This seems very messed up. I don't have any forced retention or Initial filter, and yet I have an empty newsgroup even though its servers have many headers downloaded.

eg:
alt.binaries.multimedia.comedy [empty]
- newsgroups.server1.com [1000]
- newsgroups.server2.com [1000]

What else could cause downloaded headers to be filtered out automatically?

Fixed this problem by deleting the relative files in the newspro database. (eg alt.binaries.multimedia.comedy.*)

you can just to reset the newsgroup.

probably these are headers marked as 'deleted', since they still belong to the server (edit menu->show deleted headers to see them).

you can enable purging for the newsgroup so they will be physically deleted.
