help!

hi just got newspro so im new to it. ive added a server enabled it it goes green but when i come to open & get new newsgroups nothing happens. can neone provide a solution?
check tasks menu->task manager the headers pane whether there is activity there.
if you used newspro in the past it might be the program protection (but if you run it in the first time in the installation of windows it cannot be a problem).
in any case you can try http://www.usenetexplorer.com instead, it doesn't have such level of protection and it can handle much larger volumes of headers.
