cyan coloured dot

Post by mike »

I've recently noticed a few cyan (baby blue) coloured dots appearing at the left of some headers in the area normally used for 'flags'. What do they signify?

when you enter some condition in the 'find' dialog bar (you can toggle between 'apply' - normal quick filter and 'find', the rightmost check box or ctrl+f) matches will be marked with quite sizeable (not really a dot) oval like cyan filled shape in the flag area.

the find condition persists even if you toggled the bar to the quick filter bar ('apply') since the settings are kept separate.

Where can I find legend of all the icons and meaning of various colors?

I added one more server but the newsgroups for the server have different colors than the first one.

I tried to download headers from the new server but nothing happens.

How can I find what is wrong?

did you fill in the right usercode/password?

maybe you must use another port?

My mistake. The server was down at the time.
However it would be nice if I could get an error telling me the reaon.
Moreover, I would still appreciate a consolidated legend of all icons and coloar codes.
Thank you.

errors are shown in the errors panes (question sign panes in the task manager, when the question sign is red it means there is something in the pane).
