1.14: Delete Headers & Replies?

In 1.14, the behavior for "delete headers and replies" seems to have changed. Now, instead of disappearing from the list of articles, they remain but change to blue color. Getting rid of them requires checking and then unchecking the leftmost box in the quick filter bar.

How do I "delete headers and replies" to make acticles vanish entirely from the list (or at least until I bring them back if i want by using the standard quick filter functionality), as this function did in v 1.13 and below?

TIA.

maybe you checked the 'del' box so deleted are visible.

in ue deleted is like a flag (like read or new) with special behaviour, in newspro it was something much more heavy.

No boxes were checked in the Quick Filter toolbar. However, checking the leftmost box (to activate QuickFilter) revealed that both the Del and ^Del boxes were checked. As a next step, unchecking the leftmost box in the Quick Filter toolbar caused the blue-colored articles to immediately vanish from the list. Previous to 1.14, these articles would automatically disappear from the list if I invoked "delete headers and replies" on them; there was no need to check and then immediately uncheck the leftmost box on the Quick Filter toolbar.

This behavior seems to only affect text articles that I first read by double-clicking them and then, after closing the text window for a given article, I invoked "delete headers and replies" while the already-read article was highlighted. Articles that I "downloaded and saved" automatically disappear from the list, as desired.

I am quite certain that this behavior began after I updated from 1.13 to 1.14.

no it is the standard behaviour.

just the leftbox remembers the last flag settings, so you can easily switch between show everything and the last quick filter settings as to flags (flags i mean checkboxes like read, new etc.).

del + ^del is the default value (when the value is not initialized), but it remembers the last flags between launches.
