Marking articles as "Flagged" question

I was just curious: how do you use the "Flagged" flag in UE? I don't mean the mechanics of how to do it--i mean how do you incorporate it in your workflow. Do you flag something that you are not sure you want and want to consider it later (say, if you are undecided?) How and where (and why) you use it?

And a technical question for Alex: Say I have flagged artibles all over my groups, and then I create a global view. Will the Global view show me the flagged items from all groups, or from just the loaded ones?

Ok, I answered my own question, the 2nd one. It seems that the Global view only shows the Flagged items only from the loaded groups.

Is there any way to change this behavior Alex? I think the "Flagged" mark would be a lot more useful if were were global. Here's why: I sit in front of my PC, I fire up UE, and then I think "Let's see what articles I have flagged to take care of them.. download, reply, whatever". But to do this, I would need to load ALL groups first, and then I would need to create a Global view. Isn't that very expensive time- and memory-wise? And what if I don't have any (or very few) flagged articles? Is it worth to go through all the hassle of loading all groups just to find that out?

Just a thought.
