I've had no problem perfoming search function until today.

I keep getting the following message:

Search faild: Error communicating with the server

What do I need to do?

Have you updated to UE v 1.18?

i also guess that you have the old version.

the original protocol has been designed only a few weeks ago and it is never clear whether the feature will work until it works, there is attention on both server and client, so i didn't add every detail in the protocol except for what is absolutely critical for effective communication.

so a minimal modification has been needed before finalizing the indexing code towards v1.2 release, i put a note in the download area a long time ago, future versions will give more intelligible error message in the case of protocol changes, v1.17 does it, what i really forgot is to put a separate error message in earlier versions.
