My usenet service counts headers as part of my paid for bandwidth usage and many times I'll download headers and not find any messages I want to download the bodies for, so...

I was thinking it would be nice to to be able to download headers from a free server and download any bodies I want from my paid for service.

Is this possible and if so, briefly how would I do it and can you recomend a good free server that has a complete set of headers.

you can do:

select the properties of the server.

like this:

edit - properties - servers.
click on one server and select "get headers" if you want that server to get headers. otherwise you don't.
also select "message-id direct" for the server you don't want to get headers from. Then it will use the information gotten from the server that gets the headers.

you can chose for getting bodies, or not getting bodies.
