I've subscribed to a few newsgroups and given shortened nicknames so that the workspace does not take away to much space on my 1024x768 monitor. However, now I want to rename a group and for the life of me I can't figure out to do it.

I'd hate to have to unsubcribe and to subscribe again just to do it cause of all the headers I would have to download again. Or is there a way to download only headers from a certain date like all from february the 10th till today?

all rare options are in "advanced" submenu, including "rename"
there is an option wheter to use nicks at all.

you can also change the server or newsgroup name, not only the nick.

the retention options are in properties->newsgroups, you can set date range in absolute or relative terms (e.g. 10Feb or 5d(ays)), there are examples in the retention combo box. the same retention format is for both quick filter and search service.
