Missing newsgroups - why?

Some newsgroups are missing in the list although I know they are present at the servers.
When I look at the list of newsgroups in NewsPro, it starts with
.complete_cd
.usa

In UE these groups are not listed.
If I add the groups manually, they work like they should.

These are probably not the only newsgroups missing from the list, but I don't know the magnitude of this.

Is there a hidden filter somewhere that I can reset, or what is happening here?

is "edit menu->properties->general->force server authentication" checked?

if you deleted newsgroups check "del" check box in the quick filter then select and undelete the newsgroups (newsgroup list view context menu).

if you purged newsgroups invoke from the workspace "newsgroup list" (the third pane) context menu "advanced->reset expired/purged".

Thanks a lot. The Del checkbox solved it.
I wasn't even close to imagine thinking about to consider looking there...
