auto option

Post by crmartin »

Ver 1.2.6

- those users who don't like auto option and invoking it accidentally can check "edit menu->properties->articles->hide "auto" options in advanced submenu"

I have this boxed checked but the auto option is still enabled.

Please advise.

where? i make it now default in the advanced menu since the next version (if you installed v1.2.6 you need to check it youself).

do you mean search service view? it will move it to advanced in this menu in v1.2.7

the option is always there, i just moved it to advanced menu, i didn't disable it completely.

In any view, right click on a file ->advanced and auto options are still there. I have inadvertenly clicked auto many times (very annoying). I have the check box checked and am using v 1.2.6

the idea was to move the options from the main menu, not to remove them, i myself also don't use the options, so after clicking them several times and after i got several emails about someone clicking them accidentally i moved them to the submenu.

in advanced menu it looks like more difficult to invoke them inadvertently, you can only remember the non-auto options are towards the top of the menu.

or you want to chase the options until they will be gone completely :)
