Hi There,

I downloaded your 15 day trial and I like it,

I would like to download files that are bigger then say 1MB from 23:59 till 10:00 because my ISP count a file with 1MB size only for 500KB.

I tried to fill in the sheduler (F5 ) but I only see copy paste not set and after numerous trials it seems to me I can't fill in (24:00-10:00 ).
Am I doing something wrong? I'm using Usenet explorer 1.3.1

How do I proceed?
Thanks in advance

type in (for example tuesday):

00:00-10:00

instead of 24:00-10:00 (because this is not possible: 24:00 is at the end of tuesday, 10:00 at the begin of tuesday)

and press "apply" which is below "copy paste"
below copy paste you see (i think with english windows version): "ok cancel apply"
(at least i see: "ok annuleren toepassen" because maybe i have dutch windows version. Don't know by the way why i see these dutch words, anyway does not matter for this story.

so 00:00-10:00 for tuesday.

stupid me

Hi Bassie,

thanks for the advice.

Filling in 00:00-10:00 succeeded, but to download files at full capacity of my cabel and only be charged half between 00:00 and 10:00 I should fill in 10:00-24:00 and slowdown the bandwith to let's say 100 Kb?

What about applying this rule only to files bigger then a certain size let's say 1 Mb? Is this possible?

Thanks in advance

yes 10-24 and set scheduler bandwidth limit (it is also possible to put many time intervals but you don't need that).

another way is to set it to 0-10, no scheduler bandwidth limit and set bandwidth limit in properties->tasks so when scheduler kicks in the limit in properties->tasks will be ignored.

you can use copy/paste (select all entries, enter 10-24, then press "copy" and then "paste" you set it for 6 months ahead)

you can disable/enable scheduler tasks menu->enable scheduler (it is the same as the enable check box in the scheduler properties pane, in principle i could add a message box so there would be feedback if you do it through shortcut), there are no more options in this regard, scheduler originated from modem times then for broadband connections it was left as bandwidth limiter.
