First a big thanks to Alex. I love the built in search function and the indexing service. It even finds more than Usenetjunkie.

I really like the 'pause par2 file' option. Since I hardly ever need them, but do want them in my import group.
However when I have (par2) tasks paused and select 'finish all tasks and shutdown' then UE will not exit and shutdown, but wait for the paused tasks to finish (which will never happen of course ).

Would it be possible to ignore paused task and just shut down?

no it is not true, according to the code here it doesn't wait for paused tasks.

there are two kinds of paused tasks - download later and arbitrarily paused. both kinds have hand icon, just for download later hand has clock on it.

i checked it here all works, so no problem at all.

from other side if you have e.g. servers suspended or reached download limit so not all tasks are paused it won't exit.
