I admit it..I'm an idiot...when it comes to this program, i cant make it do the simplest things...
Right now i have a hot key of alt-k which add anything currently highlited to the download queue with low priority.
What i would like is the option of doing the same thing, but when they are added to the queue, they are added in a Paused state, so they wont start downloading till i go and Unpause them.
Is such a thing possible..
I've checked out the advanced menu and can see such things as Download and Save, Download and Save later (very misleading ), download and save with priority...but no Download and Save with priority Paused

Ps, thanks for the help with getting the Headers to update imediately ..it worked great
Add to Queue Paused
if you think a little you'll realize that for every download option it is possible to add corresponding "download paused" option and i don't want to double the number of download options.
it could be a kind of button which will change every download option to paused while it is checked, but there is no such button either (i could easily add it but i doubt it is needed and it would be very easy to miss when it is pressed).
what you can do now you can check in tasks menu "suspend article tasks marked for later download" and mark articles for "download later",
then the headers will be marked for download as paused because of their priority (not with paused flag as in the case when you pause them directly) and when you want to "unpause" them in the task manager you can select those articles and e.g. invoke "download with priority" with the priority higher than the the mark for later download priority (you can find it in properties->tasks->advanced), you can achieve the same by selecting the headers in the task manager articles pane and dragging them a bit up above the "download later" priority range, it will be like the "unpause" you want or if you want to "unpause" everything marked for later download you can uncheck "suspend article tasks marked for later download".
