Hi there,
just a little question. How can i limit the search results to eg. 50 days and less old posts? My news provider will never have it anyway if a post is older than 50 days, so i do not want to see the results .....
Regards
J.

In the 'Days/dates:' field in the search bar, enter the less than operator '<' and the number of days. If, in your case, your ISP holds articles up to and including 50 day's worth, you would be more precise inputting '<51' (less than 51 days = 50 days and under).
If you forget to fill this field when you search, simply use the same logic in the Quick Filter bar in the same 'Days/dates:' box. This will allow you to perform the search and then filter the results according to your specification without having to run the entire search again. This can save time if you, for example, search for a keyword but don't want to narrow it down by searching many times within the same range. You can perform one search and filter from then on.

the limit search results days/dates field will also last between searches and program restarts, if you mean less or equal you can just put a bare single number there like "50" it will do just what you want since the default implies days, less or equal.
for advanced "days/dates" field settings see edit menu->properties->newsgroups, retention/dates [range] in the dropdown combo box there you can see some examples, but in your case just enter "50" or any number of days you want.
