I'm having a problem w/ Usenet Explorer.

When I do a search, find some files, and select to download the, it adds them to a collection called "Import". Fine, except nothing happens once they are there. Whether I double-click on them or whatever, they don't download from the "Import" collection.

I also have an "import" collection which when files are imported to it, everything works fine.

What gives? How can I fix this?

Do you mean the "Import" group?

Probably there are no servers attached to it.

In the Newsgroups pane of the workspace, right click the "Import" group, then invoke Advanced->Attach all servers.

If you didn't delete the servers yourself ensure nothing is messing at least with UE database "Settings" folder like antivirus or like, exclude at least the directory from the antivirus scan. UE has several levels of settings protection.
